Within each person exists either one of two sides; a submissive or dominant nature. Within this House exists the reverences of such natures but not as some tend to view them. This House is based upon Strength, Honour, Love, Adoration, Intelligence, Compassion, Mercy and Wisdom. Those these are the tenants followed it is by far not limited to just these. The basic nature of this House is that neither Dominant nor submissive is above the other. Each exist to fulfil the other and from that comes the natural protection given by the Lady and Lord for their own personal servants. It does not mean this House does not have its order, for all Houses must have order. It does mean though that within this House the "dominant" term and the "submissive" term are not used. Within these walls the term "dominant" is viewed as anyone who is out merely for their own pleasure and gratification. It is recommended that if this is a view you hold be you submissive or dominant that you not partake of this House for we shall hold you to our Codes and Tenants whilst with our House.
As stated, this House is not without order. Every thing in life even the free roaming butterfly has its own pattern of order to be of benefit to nature herself. It is the same in this House. The House is led by Lady and Lord Steel. They have fashioned the House after an Absolute Monarchy and thus it shall stay. This means that they and no one else are in charge of final say within this House. Lady Steel is the head of the House and Lord Steel even though serving her leads beside her with equality. Thus they do in their own right present the balance of this House by their example. It shall not be of surprise to anyone when one observes Lord Steel serving or tending to his Lady's needs or wants. It is out of mutual love and respect of each other that such a relation exists. It however does not mean that Lord Steel will not comment when so needed. He has the benevolance of Arthur yet the swiftness for justice as Excaliber. This should be remembered by all at all times.
This House does not negate the advise of others and so thus has its Privy Counsel. The Privy Counsel is set up to maintain the day to day actions of this House and advise the Lady and Lord Steel as to the many facets of this lifestyle. Currently two close family friends reside in those positions- Master Angel and Master Rameses. They are the ones who do the research for all updates on the variety of this lifestyle to include such things as links, local groups, gatherings, et cetra. It is not that the Lady and Lord Steel do not research for they do a great deal but in a lifestyle that offers so much to every walk of life this is their general function. They are considered a part of the Inner Court along with the Lady and Lord Steel's personal servants.
The personal servants of the Lady and Lord are not viewed as property as some may view those whom hold what may be considered a slave position. It is not their way to view them as such. It does not mean they are vulgar and without duties but they are valued. Their thoughts, knowledge, desires and souls are valued within this House and it will be expected that others who visit our Dungeon Parties or any thing that is associated with us or done in this House's name shall do the same with their own servants (slaves, submissives). If this is not a part of this life you agree with then again we strongly suggest that you do not associate yourself with this House. This House will not condone the abuse or use of another person without that strong bound of affection and love.
This House's final level is that of the Outer Court. The Outer Court is that of you who are not either on the Privy Counsel or in the personal service of the Lady and Lord Steel. It is expected that all who fall into this category at all times will uphold the Codes, Ethics and Tenants of this House. It does not mean that we do not allow for personal tastes but we value how we view this lifestyle and seek to have only those around our company that value this lifestyle in the same fashion. If this is not for you it is strongly advised that you seek another establishment to associate yourself with.
We know that this essay has been in some reguards vague and in other reguards lengthy. It is our hopes that all of you who plan to participate truly understand how it is the Lady and Lord Steel view this life. This House has the air of the older middle eastern and oriental cultures as well as and more overwhelmingly the flavour of the days of Arthur...that of the Knight and service to his King/Queen. If this is something that is truly too much for you to bear in this life as it takes many paths to create the fullness of this lifestyle we bear you no ill feelings. We simply ask you to respect the nature of this House. Our philosophy is that of Love....over all other facets. Without love for one's servant or for the one that the servant is serving the harmony of this House cannot be reached.
We wish all peace who participate within the walls of this House and shall strive to always maintain that harmony. If however we see the harmony being affected and you are the one who disrupts it do not be surprised if you are asked to kindly take your leave of this House. We will not tolerate those who ask to participate within our Codes who then bring chaos.
