I. About House of Dark Knights
A. Purpose
1. The House of Dark Knights was set up to not only educate and provide a social outlet, but to those of likeminds to the Lady and Lord of this Organization.
B. Setting
1. We are a west valley group in Arizona set up in the fashion of an Absolute Monarchy.
2. By having an Absolute Monarchy this ensures the firm leadership of the Inner and Outer Court to provide members with a safe enviroment to explore the lifestyle.
3. The Lady and Lord of the House Heru Stryder Steel and Arwen Illiani Steel are supported by a Privy Counsel composed of a variety of persons from different lifestyle experiences. This allows the House to provide the best in education and socialization.
C. What we offer
1. The House of Dark Knights offers those who are 18 and older the experience of the lifestyle from the point of view of an Absolute Monarchy enviroment.
2. This includes educational seminars (which are required attendance prior to any Dungeon Party), Video/Slide show demonstrations, Safe Sex & Play Seminars, Munches, Dinners and Dungeon Parties.
3. We exist to fulfil the lifestyle that the Steel's have envisioned and enjoy that with others of like mind in a consensual, sane and safe domain.
D. What we are not
1. We are not a dating service.
2. We are not a sexual oriented group.
3. We are not a partners locating service.
4. We are not physcians or psychiatrists so please make sure this lifestyle is something you can handle.
Note- We are still new and do not have our own space as of yet and as we are tightly knit group we choose to have Inner Court at one of the homes of our Counsel. In time, a private dungeon shall be established.

Note:The following rules of etiquette are designed to support a safe and respectful space for all who attend any House of Dark Knights events or parties. Anyone knowingly disregarding any of these rules may be asked to leave the House of Dark Knights, temporarily or permanently, at the discretion of the Privy Counsel, without a refund of any pertinent fees or dues.
We require confidentiality and discretion. Anyone breaking this what so ever will be automaticall banned from this organization.
No smoking in the meetings.
No non-prescription drugs, alcohol, or firearms will be allowed at any HODK function at any time. Those disregarding this rule will be asked to leave the event. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave the group.
Everyone has opinions. Every member is welcome to voice opinions at any time in a non-threatening way. It is never okay, however, for anyone to make someone else's opinion wrong.
Very intimate subjects are often discussed, and sometimes BDSM activities may take place. Because of the variety of subjects covered and the intensity of the subject matter, HODK asks that each member be responsible for his or her own well-being. If a subject or demonstration makes you uncomfortable, you are free to leave. Almost everyone has some area or topic with which they are not comfortable. Attendees at HODK events need to realize that any discomfort they feel is their own and that other individuals are not wrong for their interests and desires.
Illegal activities, including the solicitation or commission of BDSM activities for a fee, will not be tolerated at House of Dark Knights events.
C. Munches/Dinners
The afore mentioned confidentiality is a must.
As Munches and Dinners are held in public we ask your attire be presentable.
For those who have families, they are very welcome at Munches and Dinners as nothing above G-Rating shall ever be discussed.
No smoking.
No drugs, etc. If we are at a dinner wine with dinner is acceptable as long as one is within acceptable limits. Remember, this is our chance to be a good light to our choosen lifestyle to the public.
D. Dungeon Parties
NOTE- All members must attend one of three possible educational seminars prior to attending any dungeon party.
Note- We do not as of yet have a private dungeon so anything done will be done at one of the Privy Counsel's Residence for small parties or held off until we have our own.
Those who attend are to come in their house attire and colours. The House of Dark Knights is that of Royal Blue and White and so shall the Lady and Lord be attired.
On certain nights, the Lady and Lord may require period costumes, you will be advised before hand and expected to arrive in such attire.
The Dungeon Master has the final word in all conflicts.
No scat or water sports.
No exchange of body fluids except when kissing. Penetration and oral sex require a latex barrier. You will need to supply gloves, condoms, and dental dams for this purpose. No rubbers NO PLAY.
No play will be allowed that intentionally causes permanent injury or body modification.
NO Fire play and other heavy or unusual scenes will be allowed. Such play will have to be requested and reserved for a private Dungeon Party with 3 mandatory educational seminars dealing with that type of play. These must be requested 6 months in advanced.
DO NOT smoke or use heavy scents in the play area. All smoking is to be done outside, away from the door.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or any other mind-altering drug will be asked to leave and will not be allowed back for the night. Repeated offenses in this area will be grounds for being asked to leave the group permanently.
No loud play or noise outside.
DO NOT interrupt or interfere with scenes. DO NOT crowd a scene by watching or playing too close. If it is not yours, then DO NOT touch it without permission.
ALL activity must be consensual. DO NOT touch others without asking. This could be as innocent as a hug. In our lifestyle newcomers may be intimidated by something this simple.
After your scene, you are responsible for cleaning the area in which you played. We supply spray bottles with bleach water for this purpose. Blood sports, wax play, and other messy activities require the use of a drop cloth or tarp. Needles and other disposable sharps used in blood sports must be disposed of in a sharps container when they are no longer being used. Other disposable items containing body fluids must be disposed of in the proper container.
People sitting bare-bottomed in the social area should supply a towel to sit on.
Before beginning a suspension scene, the top should check with the head Dungeon Master or a board member to see that proper equipment is used. A mat is required under people who are suspended above the floor.
Videotaping and photography are allowed ONLY with the approval of ALL persons in view of the camera, and with prior permission from the Dungeon Master. Note that all tapes and photographs will be considered property of HODK and all negatives must be given to the Educational Coordinator.
No firearms are allowed in the dungeon space at any time. Non-functional "replicas" are allowed once checked by the head Dungeon Master or a Privy Counsel Member.
Members who play in HODK space must use safewords. The official dungeon safewords are "Red," "Yellow," and "Green," which mean: "Red" Means to stop all activity immeadiately and call for the DM to assist you in debriefing; Yellow means to Slow down or this is too intense go easier; Green means this is ok continue on.
NOTE: All suspension play, blood sports, intense or heavy scenes must be approved by the Privy Counsel and our Educationl Coordinatior 6 months prior to the scene. We ask that all heavy scenes such as this be private dungeon parties seperate from the regular monthly dungeon parties to allow more sensitve or new members a chance to become at ease with variety of things they might see.
NOTE: ANYONE CAUGHT BY THE DM NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THESE SAFE WORDS WILL BE BANNED FOREVER FROM HODK.
VI. Membership
A.Inner Court
1.Who can be a member?
a.All those in privy counsel.(Membership is by appointment)
b. All those who serve the Lady and Lord in their home personally.
2.Membership Fees
a.This will be voted upon by the Privy Counsel in the months to come.
3. Benefits
a. Entitles you to personal time with the Lady and Lord.
b. Automatically allows you to be a voting member of the privy counsel.
B. Outer Court
1. Who can be a member?
a. Anyone who is 18 yrs of age or older who has like views of this House.
2. Membership Fees
a. This will be voted upon by the Privy Counsel in the months to come.
3. Benefits
a. Entitles you to attend all Seminars, Munches, Dinners, and Dungeon Parties.
C. Non Members (Guests of those in Outer Court)
1. Who is considered a Non Member?
a. Any person who is a guest of the Inner or Outer Court
2. Membership Fees
a. This will be voted upon by the Privy Counsel in the months to come.
3. Benefits
a. Guests will only be allowed to attend seminars and munches.
All other fees apply.
New memberships are not offered at the door of play parties.
In order to attend play parties, you must be able to prove your membership in the House of Dark Knights with a valid membership card and, of course, you must have a driver's license or state ID to show that you are above the age of 18. No one will be admitted to a play party without both a picture ID and a qualifying membership card. Your must also have an official statement that you did indeed attend one qualifying educational seminar prior to the Dungeon Party.
Warning-Our educational director will be scouting Dungeon Parties to verify if he indeed saw you at one of the seminars. If you did not attend, you will be escorted out of the party. See this does not occur to you.
